The 1st Queer & Feminist Poetry Awards will take place on September 27th and will award poets and spoken word artists from across the Netherlands whose works talk about LGBTQ+ identities and feminism.

There are six categories to be selected during the awards ceremony including: Best Queer Performance, Poet of the Year and the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous & People of Color) Award. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges including Sandy Bosmans, representing Poetry Circle, the largest network of poets and spoken word artists in the Netherlands, Silvana Sodde, head of the Writer’s Guide and the Feminist Open Mic and Zaire Krieger, former TEDx Amsterdam speaker and winner of the Spoken Awards 2019.
The open call for participants to apply is live now and the deadline is the 6th of September 2020.
