Drag Power

Imposing, eccentric and extravagant are words that immediately come to mind with drag queens. RuPaul's Drag Race made drag known worldwide. Where it was once mainly an underground phenomenon within the LGBTQI community, drag has now almost become "mainstream". But what does drag (dressed resembling a girl) actually mean?

The people behind 5 drags active in the Netherlands - Jennifer Hopelezz, Lady Galore, Mason Tonight, Licka Lolly and ChelseaBoy - tell their personal story about their background, the various reasons for starting drag and their experiences in this exhibition.
