Strano is a popular hotspot in Rotterdam, especially with a more trendy crowd, ranging from students to anyone who agrees that 40 (or maybe 50?) is the new 30. The bartender / DJ plays both recent dance hits and gay classics, the latter with a big beat, but at a volume that you can actually still have a conversation. The bar is ideally set up for a flirt or just a good "inspection" of the other side. The drink that most typifies Strano? The Bacardi Razz Mojito is an absolute must!

Strano is generally fairly quiet at the beginning of the evening and starts to really fill up between 11 p.m. at 1 a.m.
